About the Healthy Working Lives Research Group

Our approach is the belief that good work is good for health, and that good health is good for work.

Part of the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Monash University. We design, deliver and translate collaborative research to improve the health of working age people in Australia and globally. The 2022 HWLRG Seminar Series will feature numerous events that disseminate key findings from the the COMPARE project (Recovery) and the Driving Health project (Prevention).

About the COMPARE project

The COMpensation Policy And Return to work Effectiveness (COMPARE) project was established to develop an evidence base to support effective return to work policy and practice in Australia. Established in 2014 the project has produced a large volume of research of relevance to the Australian workers’ compensations schemes. To find out more head to
